She was 92 years old and had been bravely battling the effects of a brain stroke for the past ten days. Sr. Adelaide dedicated over 70 years of her life in the service of God and humanity through her religious vocation — a truly remarkable journey of faith, commitment, and love. Just last year, we had the joy of celebrating her Platinum Jubilee, a milestone that reflected her unwavering devotion and her lifelong example of simplicity, discipline, and deep spirituality. Her association with Ramnee remains etched in the hearts of generations of students and staff. Those who knew her remember her energetic presence on the school field during annual sports practices — guiding, training, and inspiring students in march pasts, P.T. displays, and drills with unmatched zeal and precision. Her dedication extended beyond the field; as Manager of Ramnee in the early 2000s, she served the institution with wisdom and integrity, ensuring its smooth functioning and growth. Later, she continued her service in the school library, where her diligence and quiet commitment touched many lives. Sr. Adelaide was a woman of strong faith, gentle spirit, and selfless service. Her life was a shining testimony to the motto she lived by — doing ordinary things with extraordinary love. As we bid her farewell, we thank God for the gift of her long, fruitful life and her enduring legacy in our community.
